Feb. 1, 2019 — The Rotary Club of Ardmore held its 7th annual A Cappella Sing-off Sunday, January 27, 2019, in the auditorium at Lower Merion High School. The mainstay musical event of the season featured more than a dozen sponsored high school A cappella singing teams. Each team battled for the charities of their choice and they were able to earn a minimum of $500 and as much as $1000 for their charity. Baldwin's B-Flats came in first place in the competition.

Jan. 30, 2019 — Nearly 300 teams from more than 240 Pennsylvania high schools will compete in district and regional levels of the Statewide Mock Trial Competition sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. And three schools in Bryn Mawr are among those sending teams, including The Baldwin School.

Jan. 29, 2019 — Baldwin School sophomore Megan Cooper captured first place at the Inter-Ac Girls’ Diving Championships Monday at Germantown Academy. This is the first time a Baldwin athlete won the Inter-Ac diving title. Cooper finished with a score of 257.30.

Jan. 7, 2019 — Anya Mostek, a freshman swimmer, was undefeated in the 100 back, 200 free and 200 IM after the Polar Bears’ first four meets. In Baldwin’s 87-83 win against Agnes Irwin, Mostek finished first in the 200 free and 100 back, and broke the school’s 100 back record held by legendary Baldwin swimmer Valerie Yoshimura since 2012.

Baldwin Welcomes Award-Winning Author Hena Khan
Dec. 12, 2018 — The Baldwin School Library was excited to host award-winning author Hena Khan on December 5. Khan is a Pakistani American Muslim who enjoys writing about her culture and religion. She met with students in PreK – Grade 6 to share her journey as a writer, experience writing and the need for more diverse stories. This event supports Baldwin's commitment to expose students to diverse cultures and perspectives.

Nov. 20, 2018 — Varsity soccer players Relly Ladner '19, Natalie Sgro '19 and Gia Vicari '19 announced their college decision at the annual fall athletics commitment ceremony on November 19.

Nov. 7, 2018 — The Baldwin School has announced nine students from its senior class have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Five Baldwin students have been named semifinalists, and four students have been named commended students in the 63rd annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

Nov. 5, 2018 — Baldwin freshman Izzy Antanavicius '22 posted a 9-1 record (6-0 Inter-Ac) at second singles and won a silver medal at the Inter-Ac Tournament. Baldwin head coach Jeff Sacks said, “Izzy possesses a serve that resembles a Division 1 collegiate serve by its speed."

Oct. 2, 2018 — On September 28, Varsity Tennis Coach Jeff Sacks earned his 100th career win at Baldwin when his team defeated Inter-Ac foe Academy of Notre Dame 7-0. Pacing the way was Torrie Smith '20 at No. 1 singles with a 6-4 7-5 win. Izzy Antanavicius '22 won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles while Presley Daggett '21 won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

Sept. 18, 2018 — As a senior defender for Baldwin's Varsity soccer team, Lauren Bracken '19 has played a key role in the team's success this fall so far (four consecutive shutouts, 3-0-1 record as of Sept. 17). Lauren is head of Baldwin's Athletic Association and a member of the Lower Merion Soccer Club Storm Team, which won the 2017 and 2018 Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association State Cup Championship and is the No. 1 ranked club team in state for their age group.
